On 02/04/2016 Clarksville Police Department Narcotics Officer Todd Russell along with members of the Probation and Parole conducted a home visit of Parolee Kevin Kulp at the Stanton Street Apartments. Located during the home search was approximately 3 grams of suspected methamphetamine, two glass pipes, two digital scales and several other drug paraphernalia items. Suspect Kevin Kulp was taken into custody and transported to the Johnson County Detention Center. The Clarksville Police Department has taken a proactive stance with the war on drugs. This year the Clarksville Police Department created the position of Narcotics Officer which was filled by Patrolman Todd Russell and K9 Basha. K9 Basha is a 3 year old female Belgian Malinois certified by the State of Arkansas in narcotics detection. The Clarksville Police Department is actively working to keep drugs off the streets of our community.
